During the diagnostic check carried out on your MINI, one of our professional, qualified mechanics will plug your vehicle into a specialised code reader. This diagnostic system will analyse the health of key components and can detect problems with your vehicle which can be challenging to spot manually. We will then evaluate the symptoms that you report along with any fault codes, data reports, known fixes etc to establish the fault. We will then advise you as to either what the issue is, or what is required to identify the issue.
 
We also have an arsenal of other equipment such as smoke machines, oscilloscopes, pressure gauges and much more to diagnose your vehicle. This will allow us to correctly diagnose and fix your MINI correctly, so it is safe for you to drive away once repaired.

WHICH AREAS DOES THE DIAGNOSTIC CHECK ON MY MINI TEST?

• electronic control units (ECUs) - these control various element of the car and its performance including engine running
• emissions and exhaust sensors
• braking system
• electrical components such as central door locking
• transmission if electronically controlled
