The MOT test checks for the minimum level of functioning to allow your car to be safe and roadworthy.
Our MOT Testers will check the following areas during the test:
  • Internal checks (Such as: Lights, seat belts, wipers, steering wheel, the speedometer, etc)
  • External checks (Reg plates, lamps, indicators, bodywork, tyres, wheels, etc)
  • Under the vehicle (Steering and driving shafts, suspension, brakes and wheel bearings. The exhaust and fuel systems will be examined along with the overall condition of the vehicle)
When you book your Mercedes Benz MOT with Dack Motor Group, all customers will receive a free video health check where you can view and approve your work straight from your mobile.
These will be emailed to you as soon as they are ready, then one of our trained service consultants will be in touch to talk through what we may have found.

Should your vehicle fail its MOT, simply return it to us within 10 working days and we’ll retest it free of charge.
If your vehicle should not meet the standards required to be issued with an MOT certificate, we will happily prepare a no obligation quote for any MOT repairs that may be required. This will be emailed straight to you so that you can see exactly what repairs and costs are involved.
Once your MOT repair quotation is approved by you, we will commence work as soon as possible, and in most cases, this MOT repair work will be carried out the same day.
On completion, an MOT retest will be carried out and all old parts will be retained for your inspection until the car has been collected.
Once your vehicle has passed its MOT test you will be issued with an MOT test certificate, a copy of the MOT failure certificate and a fully itemised invoice.
Yes. We have a selection of courtesy cars to assist you. Please speak to your service advisor upon booking, for courtesy car allocation. The fee is £20 per day.
