Job description

Dack Motor Group has taken over an existing service centre in Coventry. We are looking for an experienced individual that is confident in running the branch, with support from our head office team in Lincoln which includes accounts and marketing departments.

The site currently has 7 workshop bays, large customer reception plus front and rear car parks. We have future plans to expand the offerings at Coventry, such as vehicle sales and van rental.

Dack Motor Group opened in 2010, founded by Leo Dack who started out his career as a vehicle technician. Coventry is the 2nd site that is part of a wider group plan to expand and utilise the strengths and team of the head office based in Lincoln.

Branch Manager

Ensure all working practices and procedures comply with requirements
Completing the monthly management branch Audit (HSE/MOT/House keeping)
Ensure compliance of oneself and staff with the Health and Safety at Work Act
Maximise volume and profit opportunities ensuring that financial targets are met
Deliver outstanding customer service. Responsible for overseeing reception area.
Co-ordinate and control the work of all staff, offering assistance and support as required
Maintaining effective communication and motivation amongst staff.
Ensuring that organisational objectives and vision are understood by all.
Maintain effective communication with Head Office
Promote and maintain the Company image, acting as a brand ambassador
Assist the Company Directors and HR Department with the recruitment and selection of new employees, performance reviews, and disciplinaries and grievances, as requested
Supervise and direct training
Ensure the security of parts stock and monies
Maintain standards of property and housekeeping.
Ensure the MOT bay and equipment are in good working order.
Ensure the MOT paperwork, maintenance and calibration is kept up to date.
Ensure MOT calibration paperwork is kept in order for DVSA visits

Remuneration is dependent on experience. We offer an uncapped bonus scheme based on business performance and customer satisfaction score (NPS) plus an attractive basic salary.
