Servicing to Manufacturer Specification

Most BMW's now have what is called a BMW Condition Based Service. This is where the car will let you know when a service is due. There are a variety of different BMW service icons that may appear. Further down the page, you can see what each icon means. 

If you are not sure which BMW service you need, feel free to visit us. We can check the service data stored on your key. We can then print a report that will show the items due now and also when other items are due. 

We always adhere to the BMW service itinerary and use genuine quality parts and lubricants. This means that we can also service your BMW without affecting the warranty. 

Interim BMW Service

Ideal for high-mileage drivers between full services; includes oil/filter change, fluid top-ups, and safety checks.

BMW Full Service

Comprehensive inspection including brakes, suspension, filters, and software updates.

BMW Major Service

Recommended every 2–3 years, covering spark plugs, air/fuel filters, brake fluid change, and full diagnostics.

BMW Service Icons 

	This icon means that your BMW is due an oil and filter replacement.		This icon is for the micro filter (pollen filter) - advised to be replaced with every oil service. (Not all BMW's will display this icon)
	Your front brake pads are wearing low, the brake discs will be checked at same time and may need replacing.		Your BMW may not have this icon, however spark plugs are due on every second oil service. (Petrol engines only)
	Your rear brake pads are wearing low,  the brake discs will be checked at same time and may need replacing.		Your Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) may be blocked require inspection and diagnostic tests.
	A brake fluid replacement is required. (Brake fluid absorbs moisture over time and is recommended every 2 years)		The MOT on your BMW is due.
	Your BMW is due a Vehicle Check Service. This thorough inspection covers a wide variety of elements to help ensure your BMW remains safe and perform at its optimum. This symbol may also appear for other vehicle defects that require attention.
