What will a BMW MOT include?

The MOT test checks for the minimum level of functioning to allow your car to be safe on the road. We will check the following areas during the MOT process:

• Internal checks (Lights and switches, seat belts, wipers, steering wheel, the speedometer, etc)
• External checks (Plates, lamps, indicators, bodywork, tyres, wheels, etc)
• Under the vehicle (Steering and driving shafts, suspension, brakes and wheel bearings. The exhaust and fuel systems will be examined along with the overall condition of the vehicle)
  
  

Free BMW Video Health Check

To ensure that each service and MOT is completely transparent, all customers will receive a free vehicle video health check where you can view and approve any work straight from your mobile. This video will show you any issues on your BMW and inform you of the work needed, as well as showing the general condition of your vehicle.

Your vehicle health check video will be emailed to you as soon as it is ready, then one of our BMW trained service consultants will be in touch to talk through any findings.

With your prior approval, we will proceed to repair any issues and get you back on the road as soon as we can.

How much will my BMW MOT Cost?

What if my Vehicle Fails its MOT?

Should your vehicle fail its MOT, simply return it to us within 10 working days and we’ll retest it free of charge.

If your vehicle should not meet the standards required to be issued with an MOT certificate, we will happily prepare a no obligation quote for any MOT repairs that may be required on your BMW. This will be emailed straight to you so that you can see exactly what repairs and costs are involved.

Once your MOT repair quotation is approved by you, we will commence work as soon as possible, and in most cases, MOT repair work will be carried out the same day.

On completion, an MOT retest will be carried out and all old parts will be retained for your inspection until your BMW has been collected. Once your vehicle has passed its MOT test you will be issued with an MOT test certificate, a copy of the MOT failure certificate and a fully itemised invoice.
